It’s no secret that I’m a massive Stephen King fan, and The Dark Tower series stunned me in its perfection of the genre. From that series, the character Oy is my favourite ever book character. I’d decided long ago to get a tattoo of him, but with only the description of the billy-bumbler to go on together with a few fan-drawn pictures found on the internet, deciding on how to immortalise him was proving difficult!
I’d admired the work of a local tattoo artist, and had one of his patchwork tattoos recently, and though that Oy would make a great patchwork tattoo. Willow worked on the custom piece for me, and you can see the result here. I’m so pleased with the result, and as it’s down the front of my shin, it’ll even make me get my legs out in the summer months!
